On Wednesday, July 11, we held our annual Family Picnic and Fishing Contest. It was a wonderful sunny day to get together with members, retirees, friends and family.
The new location at Beebe Lake Regional Park was a hit. The fishing was the best we ever had, with many large fish caught. The pan fish were biting like crazy at the fishing pier, and many of the children were bringing them in at a hectic pace. At noon, lunch was served by Local 663 business agents, and prizes and drawings followed.
It was nice for all of us to have time to chat with the many members and their families.
