Local 653 Members who receive a WHITE letter and present it at the door with proper identification will receive a ballot to vote on the merger and a ballot to vote on by-law changes.

Members who receive a YELLOW letter are not eligible to vote because they are in arrears on dues or initiation through the month of June. Such member will be admitted to the meeting when they present their yellow ticket and proper identification at the door. Members who receive a yellow letter can come to the union office no later than Monday, August 13, 2018, by 3:30 p.m. to pay up any dues or initiation fees that are in arrears. They can turn in their yellow letter for a white letter, giving them a merger ballot and by-law changes ballot to vote at the ratification meeting.

· WHITE LETTER: “ONE FULL VOTE” on each of the ballots for members who have paid the full initiation and current dues through June.

· YELLOW LETTER: “ADMITTANCE TO MEETING BUT YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO VOTE” for members who are in arrears on dues or initiation through June.

Please remember to bring your letter and identification on Thursday, August 16, so you can vote on the merger and by-law changes.
